Ralph Appelbaum Associates, the world’s largest museum planning and interpretive design firm, is offering paid internships to qualified undergraduate students for Spring 2023. Recent graduates, graduate students, and emerging professionals are also welcome to apply. RAA internships can be completed remotely, in our New York studio space, or a combination thereof. All applicants are encouraged to apply regardless of location within the US.
Internships are open to interested persons looking to further their academic and/or career goals in museums and cultural institutions and/or related areas. Interns will gain valuable work experience and professional development in a dynamic, collaborative, and creative environment.
The Graphic Design Intern works under the guidance of Senior Graphic Design staff to help produce exhibit graphic concept and other project-specific assignments. The Graphic Design staff works closely with RAA’s Content staff, Physical Design staff, and clients to determine the exhibition design visual identity, graphic systems, and layouts. Candidates should have strong conceptual ability and editorial strength.
