Ralph Appelbaum Associates (RAA), the world’s largest museum planning and interpretive design firm, is offering paid internships to interested persons looking to further their academic and/or career goals in museums, cultural institutions, and any related fields. The duration of the internship will be approximately 6 months. Qualified undergraduate students, recent graduates, graduate students, and emerging professionals are welcome to apply. RAA internships are based in our studio in Kreuzberg.
Interns will gain valuable work experience and professional development in a dynamic, collaborative, and creative environment. This internship will cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the multidisciplinary process involved in designing a museum/exhibition across departments. Interns are assigned to projects according to the intersection of their interests and RAA’s staffing needs. They have the opportunity to do real work and actively contribute to their team. Outside of their project work, interns will learn about past projects, potential career paths, and the intricacies of the museum and design industries.
The Exhibition Physical Design Intern will work under the guidance of their Project Manager and Senior Physical Designers and in close collaboration with RAA’s Content staff, Visual Design staff, and clients.
