Lavazza Flagship Store

London, England

The Lavazza Flagship Store in London is a new destination offering an authentic Lavazza coffee experience in the heart of the city. This flagship is the second such store in the world and the only one outside Italy.

It is also the first of a new international design concept for the famous Italian brand. RAA was commissioned by Lavazza to create the communications strategy and experience design for the London Flagship store.

Prominently located on the corner of Great Marlborough and Argyll St, opposite the iconic Liberty London department store, the London Flagship embodies the Lavazza experience through RAA’s high-quality, contemporary design inspired by the brand’s identity, its values and its distinctive spirit of Italianità.

During their visit, customers encounter a range of different experiences arranged across two floors. The ground floor offers an authentic Italian Caffetteria experience at the bar beneath a bespoke coffee bean chandelier, while the first floor offers food and drink in the elegant but playful environment of the Gastronomia.

Lavazza’s London Flagship Store is RAA’s third project with the Italian brand, building on previous work on the Lavazza Museum at the brand’s Turin headquarters and more recently, the factory tour design for Lavazza’s specialty coffee, Casa 1895.
