James Cathcart
Principal, Creative Director
James Cathcart is Principal and Creative Director in RAA’s New York Studio. Over his three decades at RAA, James has led a wide range of award-winning projects, including museums, science centers, pavilions, and corporate showcases.
James holds an MArch from the Cranbrook Academy of Art. He has received two New York Foundation for the Arts architecture fellowships and the John and Magda McHale Fellowship from SUNY Buffalo, where he also taught graduate architecture studios.
