The Holocaust Museum Houston reopens Saturday, and it’s about more than the Holocaust
The Houston Chronical reports on the reopening of the Holocaust Museum Houston, following a three-year effort which has not only nearly tripled its size, but also expanded its mission and reach. The Museum is to be the first fully bilingual Holocaust Museum in the country with exhibits, designed by Ralph Appelbaum Associates, presented in both English and Spanish. CEO Kelly J. Zúñiga noted that a main aim is to leave those who visit with the feeling that they can change the world - “It’s not a passive experience.”
